OMC Med Energy Conference
On 8th April, during the 17th edition of the OMC Med Energy Conference & Exhibition in Ravenna, OMEC Director General was pleased to moderate a panel in a thought-provoking session titled:
“Natural Gas: A Source to Support the Energy Transition”
The session explored the multifaceted role of natural gas in the energy transition, focusing on how it can act as a bridge fuel in achieving sustainability goals, Italy’s strategic role and experience within the Mediterranean region, the transformative impact of gas developments in the Eastern Mediterranean on regional energy markets and geopolitical dynamics, as well as the importance of supportive policies to promote the use of low-carbon molecules and accelerate the energy transition.
