OMEC Participates in High-Level EU–Jordan Private Sector Roundtable
On 26 January 2026, OMEC took part in the High-Level EU–Jordan Private Sector Roundtable held in Brussels. The event brought together senior representatives from the European Union, including Commissioner for the Mediterranean Dubravka Šuica, Jordanian ministers, EU financial institutions such as the EIB and EBRD, and key private sector stakeholders.
The roundtable, part of the EU–Jordan Strategic and Comprehensive Partnership launched in January 2025, focused on strengthening economic cooperation, mobilising European private sector investments, and advancing bankable projects in priority sectors such as water management, renewable energy, digital technologies, transport, critical minerals, and pharmaceuticals. This series of high-level engagements will culminate in the Jordan–EU Investment Conference on 21 April 2026, aiming to boost investment and deepen partnerships between Jordan and Europe.
