Geodays 2026 is a recognized event in the subsurface and geosciences sector, bringing together industry, academic, and institutional stakeholders to discuss the role of the underground in the energy transition and regional industrial sovereignty.
On 16 June, OMEC Director General will intervene in the Euro / Med Sequence session titled “What energy and decarbonization strategies for Mediterranean regions: current situation and prospects, what role for underground industries?”, focusing on the challenges and opportunities for decarbonisation and the strategic role of subsurface industries in the Mediterranean energy transition.
