OMEC Participation in the Second Implementation Dialogue on Renewable Energy Investments in the MENA Region
OMEC participated in the Second Implementation Dialogue on “Increasing the Role of the EU Private Sector in Renewable Energy Investments in the MENA Region”, hosted by Commissioner Dubravka Šuica on 9 June 2026 in Brussels.
The dialogue focused on the investment dimension of the EU Pact for the Mediterranean, exploring how the European private sector can play a greater role in investments under the Trans-Mediterranean Renewable Energy and Clean Tech Initiative (T-MED). Discussions also addressed the implications of the EU’s Economic Security Strategy and ways to strengthen EU competitiveness and engagement in the region.
