OMEC at the 2026 global conference on the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development
Within the framework of the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development conference, organized by UNESCO in Paris, OMEC will participate in the high-level event “Science, Energy, Heritage and Peace: Women-Led Pathways for Sustainable Development”, taking place on 17 July 2026.
The event will bring together institutional representatives, experts, and stakeholders from the fields of science, energy, heritage, and sustainable development. Discussions will focus on the role of scientific cooperation and innovation in addressing energy transition and climate challenges, promoting sustainable development, and strengthening cooperation between Europe and Africa.
The event will also highlight the importance of inclusive governance, sustainable energy solutions, and the contribution of women to science, energy, heritage management, and peacebuilding processes.
