OMEC Members Reviews Preliminary Findings of the Mediterranean Energy Review 2026
On Friday 23 October 2026, OMEC’s MEP Task Force and Strategy Committee members will meet to review the preliminary results and key messages of the Mediterranean Energy Review (MER) 2026, ahead of the final drafting phase and the report’s presentation at COP31. The meeting will be held in hybrid format, online and at OMEC headquarters in Paris.
François Dassa, Chair of the MEP Task Force and Long-Term Program Director at EDF, with Director General of OMEC, Houda Ben Jannet will open the meeting, followed by the presentation of the preliminary MER 2026 results and key messages. The discussion will then turn to the messages to be highlighted at COP31, along with any comments or adjustments to be taken into account before the report is finalized.
