OMEC at MOC 2026 – Mediterranean Offshore Conference & Exhibition
OMEC will take part in the Mediterranean Offshore Conference & Exhibition (MOC 2026), taking place from 20 to 22 October 2026 at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conference Center in Alexandria, Egypt.
Working closely with Egypt’s Ministry of Petroleum, OMEC Director General will speak in a Strategic Conversation on the conference’s opening day, Tuesday 20 October.
Titled “Gas, LNG and the Low-Carbon Transition: The East Mediterranean’s Strategic Moment,” the session will bring together voices on how Egypt and the East Mediterranean can leverage gas, LNG, and emerging clean energy sources to strengthen regional energy security while advancing lower-carbon growth. Discussion will cover Egypt’s LNG infrastructure as a gateway for East Mediterranean gas exports, lower-carbon gas value chains, regional cooperation between Egypt, Cyprus, and Greece, and the balance between long-term LNG contracts and flexible trading in a fast-changing global market.
